I strongly believe, when technology is effectively integrated into subject it really helps make teaching and learning more meaningful and fun. I really enjoyed and learned a lot from this course. I definitely would use most of these sites for my future class. Thank you Mr. Jenkins and see you all in the fall. Have a GREAT summer!! :)

Weebly Presentation
In class, Mr. J assigned us to make professional portfolio using weebly.com. Weebly is a free webpage creation site. I opened an account and created one my own webpage. Weebly was easy to make my own using a simple drag and drop interface. I really like this webpage than a blog. I would update my own weebly site, and I would like to use this in the future. For example, I would use this webpage for my educational experiences portfolio, my future classroom introduction, and also, I would assign my future students to create their own webpage using Weebly.com.

Elluminate Live!
Elluminate Live is e-learning and collaboration solution software. It helps educators for a best in class. For example, today in class, Mr. Jenkins invited two guest speakers, one from Washington and other from Dubai. They introduced many technologies about e-learning and teaching program such as Twitter, Facebook, and Skype. I learned today so many useful programs for my future in class. I would use these sites for communicating with my students, and parents. I would like to make a parental conference with my students and parents. Also, I would invite guest speaks just like what we did today. I really enjoyed and excited this link to connect to the world.:)

Slide Show Presentation
Today in class, we created a slide picture story. Mr. Jenkins gave us some website for creating slide show such as slide.com, rockyou.com, and picturetrail.com. Our group chose to use slide.com to create our own slide picture show. First, we decided to make a fable “Goldilocks and the three bears” for our slide show. We used images from google and puppets from our own. We took pictures and upload at slide.com. It was great software. This is my first time to create slide show. However, it was so easy to access and to upload the pictures. Also, it could create customized design easily. More over, it could copy at my blogger. I would like to use this slide show to my future class. First, I would like to ask students to create their puppet and do presentation in class. After that, they can make their own slide show using by google image after that they can write their reflection about real puppet show and online puppet slide show.

Create a Puzzle
Today in class, we created our own puzzle for students. I really like these puzzle software for word-searches and crossword puzzles. I would like to use this software in my class. Actually, I already made one reviewing words for my tutoring student.
This site is what I was really looking for.

8 Big Events in My Life
Today in class, we learned how to make timeline using by Timeline Generator (http://www.teach-nology.com/web_tools/materials/timeline/). It can be used to make a simple timeline of eight events. I made “8 big events in my life so far.” It was so easy to make it. I just write on the date and description. I really like this site but I couldn’t find any reference to “upload pictures.” However, I can modify this assignment in my future class. For example, I can ask my student to read a picture book of biography and tell them to write the key events of his or her life. It is a great example of lesson strategies.

WebQuest
A WebQuest is a learning activity used by educators it can make learners interact with comes from resources on the internet. Today in class, we used zunal.com. It is a good site for teachers to build their learning activity through the process of creating a WebQuest.
Ashley and I made one WebQuest through the zunal.com about the puppets. The purpose of our WebQuest is to introduce students to puppet shows. Students will work cooperatively in groups to explore various websites to learn about the history and purpose of puppet shows, create scripts for their own puppet shows, create puppets and props, and techniques for putting on their own puppet show. One thing I didn’t like about this site, I could insert only one picture for uploading. Therefore, it was a great experience that I could use this WebQuest in my future class.
